Everton have dropped from 14th to 19th in the table as a result of being charged in March for breaching FFP regulations after recording financial losses of £371.8 million over a three-year period when the competition’s limit is £105m.

With Chelsea also being probed, Stefan Borson, a lawyer who has advised City in the past, now believes Man City and Chelsea are at risk of a harsher punishment than Everton have received.
