So Sad as Chelsea star pulls out from England squad after sustaining injury
Levi Colwill was recently handed his second senior England call-up, alongside Conor Gallagher and Cole Palmer, but the 20-year-old will have to wait a little longer before he plays again for the Three Lions.
This is because it has been confirmed by the official ‘X’ handle of the English national team that Colwill pulled out from the squad for their upcoming matches against Malta and North Macedonia.
The news was shared on Tuesday afternoon by the English team, and it comes after the centre back missed Chelsea’s 4-4 draw with Manchester City on Sunday due to a shoulder injury.
The Evening Standard however reports that Colwill is expected back in training soon, and should be available for Chelsea’s Premier League meeting with Newcastle after the international break.
