Raheem Sterling message to Chelsea about Cole Palmer before he joined Chelsea from city revealed
Raheem Sterling may have played a part in Chelsea signing Cole Palmer from Manchester City, according to a recent report by manchestercity.news.
The Blues signed the 21-year-old on transfer deadline day after agreeing a deal around £42.5m with City. However, the outlet has claimed that Chelsea sought for Sterling’s opinion on the player before the deal was concluded.
Sterling is said to have given a good review of Palmer to Chelsea after working with the England youth international at Manchester City for many years.
Sterling himself, moved to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2022, and has become a key part of the current Chelsea squad. The same can be said of Palmer, who now has three goals and three assists from his first seven games for his new team.
Chelsea fans will be hoping the two players will be at their best on Sunday when they face Man City at home, after failing to win any of their last six meetings with the reigning Premier League champions.
