Cole Palmer is having an unreal time since joining Chelsea from Manchester City in the summer.

On Sunday he scored against his former club to help his current club get a more than deserved point, and on Monday he received his first senior callup to the England squad!

He’s come in to Chelsea and he has become one of their most important players already. The players look for him when attacking and when on the ball, they look to send everything through Palmer, and that is a testament to his quality.

But he doesn’t just have quality, he has a very strong mentality as well and a lot of confidence and belief in his own ability. Stepping up to confidently take penalties this season being one prime example of that.

But another one is as reported by The Daily Mail this week, is the fact he studied Mauricio Pochettino’s squad and possible threats to his own spot before making the move from City and surmised that this was a chance ripe for the taking.
