Cole Palmer isn’t prepared to request penalty duties from Harry Kane just yet

Cole Palmer is so laid back he’s almost lying down.

Still just a youngster, he’s stepped into the Chelsea team without missing a beat, and has now been called up to the England squad. There he took his first press conference for the Three Lions just days after arriving, and didn’t look nervous at all.

That attitude translates to his penalties too, where he looks too relaxed to ever miss. In the presser, it was jokingly put to him that he might have to tap Harry Kane on the shoulder and ask for a go on spot kicks for Gareth Southgate’s team.

“No way,” Palmer responded in his typically understated fashion.
