Chelsea may have to let £50m target go to Arsenal and hope they made the right call
Arsenal are suddenly being linked with Dusan Vlahovic, the Juventus striker who will cost around £50m, according to a report from Caughtoffside today.
Much like Chelsea, Arsenal have been scratching around a very limited pool of top number 9s available hoping one can be worth the big price tags put on them.
It will certainly be a nail biting moment for Chelsea fans to watch a player they were linked to extensively go to one of their rivals.
In fact, it would be even more sweaty than that, as it’s in a position that we’ve been desperately short in long term.
However through the duration of a long summer’s links to Vlahovic, most fans convinced themselves that the Serb was not a player they wanted, and given that they might actually be happy to see him go to the Emirates and struggle.
