Arsenal For Sale Kroenke Family

Arsenal director Josh Kroenke has insisted his family would no longer be selling the club despite being told he has ‘no clue’ about English football at a virtual fans’ forum.

Kroenke was appearing at the event alongside Chief Executive Venai Venkatesham to discuss Arsenal’s involvement in the failed European Super League.

The pair answered questions for 30 minutes and apologised for Arsenal’s role in the project which they eventually withdrew from late on Tuesday evening.

Supporters were not happy, with one telling Kroenke he “has no clue” and another claiming that Gunners fans “never trusted” the son of owner Stan.

Akhil Vyas, an Arsenal Supporters Trust board member, told Kroenke he should “leave” the club.

Kroenke later revealed his family have no intention of selling and promised to invest more money make Arsenal a force again.

He said: “We have big plans to invest, we have plans, we want to be great again, but a long-term model does not support long term high investment. We have intention of selling.”

Infuriate Gunners fans have consistently accused the family of being absent owners – a criticism which was also levelled at the fans’ forum.
